Colorado Mesa University Athletics

Information as of 2002:  Lew Ron entered Mesa in 1960 where he continued his outstanding basketball career, having excelled at Carbondale High School where he was a four-time all-conference selection. At Mesa he averaged 21.5 points and 15.2 rebounds per game. He set a new Mesa College single game scoring record with 36 points in an overtime game, and repeating the feat two weeks later. Lew Ron now works at the River Valley Ranch as an amenities supervisor in Carbondale, Colorado.
