Bobby Coy was one of the most prolific athletes the Colorado Mesa football program has produced. Coy was named an All-American by Daktronics, D2Football.com, the AP and the AFCA following his senior season. He was named a region finalist for the Harlon Hill trophy, the Division II version of the Heisman Trophy.
Coy is tied for the all-time rushing yards mark with Michael Vaughn at 4,161 yards. He had a school record 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns during his senior season. He was a three-time All-RMAC honoree, three-time RMAC All-Academic team recipient and a three-time National Football Foundation Colorado selection.
He currently resides in Midland, Mich. with his wife Sarah.
