Sam Bryant and
Noah Macomber highlighted day one action for Colorado Mesa University at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday (Feb. 8).

Bryant repeated as the conference champion in the 1,000 free. He broke his own pool and RMAC record with a time of 9:14.17.

Noah Macomber claimed his first career RMAC title winning the men's three-meter. The freshman posted winning score of 525.85.
Â
Josh Bedford finished third in the 200 individual medley breaking his own school record with a time of 1:50.12.

The men's 200 medley relay of
Eric Berg, Josh Bedford,
Chris Radomski and Sky Hirsch finished second in an NCAA B Cut time of 1:28.71.

The women's 200 medley relay of
Hannah Mabile, Sam White,
Eryn Leonard and
Marissa Bradley finished third in an NCAA B Cut time of 1:45.34.

Sam White led a trio of women in the 50 free. She finished fourth in a school record time of 23.62.
Mary Saiz was sixth (23.85), and
Marissa Bradley seventh (23.96).

Sky Hirsch finished fourth (20.42) in the men's 50 free, followed by
Chris Radomski in fifth (20.55) and
Eric Berg eighth (21.31).

Katelin Staab finished fourth (10:27.73) in the 1,000 free, and Kat Gerstmar was seventh (10:43.28).

Miranda Reetz placed fifth (2:07.94) in the women's 200 individual medley, and
Landon Ellis was seventh in the men's 1,000 free (9:40.29).

On the men's three-meter,
Sage D'Ambrosia was fifth (418.30), and
Josh Lyons was eighth (352.60).

The men and women are both in second place after day one. The men trail Oklahoma Baptist by one point, and the women trail California Baptist by 71.
