The Mavericks were competing against divers from the host squad, Concordia (Calif.) and Fresno Pacific.
"After a long drive, it's always hard learning to step up in colder weather, especially for such a young team," Maverick Head Diving Coach
Logan Pearsall said about the outdoor venue.
The divers will contest the same events in an 11-dive format on Saturday.
"We tried some new things and stepped out of our comfort zone some to help us further down the road. Winning all 4 events is always nice but they are hungry to do better as a team tomorrow," Pearsall said.
