D'Ambrosia and Popp Earn All-American Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Sage D'Ambrosia and Ryan Popp of Colorado Mesa University each earned All-American honors on the one-meter diving board Thursday (March 10) at the NCAA Div. II Swimming and Diving Championships.

D'Ambrosia finished fourth with a score of 496.20. Popp was right behind him in fifth with a score of 496.05.

Sam Bryant finished 12th in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:54.83.

The men's 200 free relay of Sky Hirsch, Justin Hastings, Chris Radomski and Josh Bedford finished 18th (1:22.85).

Eryn Leonard placed 27th (56.92) in the women's 100 fly, and Sky Hirsch was 31st (49.96) in the men's.

Kyle Johnston finished 39th (1:42.01) in the men's 200 free, and Mary Saiz was 42nd (1:53.68) in the women's.

The men's team currently sits tied for 11th with Simon Fraser with 57 points. The women's team is seeking its first points of the championships.

The national championships continue through Saturday (March 12).
