Complete Results in PDFGRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – Colorado Mesa University won three events, set six school records and one conference record at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Friday (Feb. 12).
Justin Hastings won the 100 back and broke the conference and school records with a time of 47.88.
Sam Bryant won his third individual event of the championships setting a pool and school record time of 5:29.09 in the 500 free.
Mary Saiz earned her first RMAC crown with a win in the 100 back in a time of 55.94.
Josh Bedford was the runner-up in the 100 breast in a school record time of 55.90.
Eryn Leonard set a new school record in the 200 fly to finish third in a time of 2:03.99.
The Mavericks concluded the night with school records in both genders of the 800 free relay.
The men's squad of
Sam Bryant,
Kyle Johnston,
Ryan Gifford and Josh Bedford lowered the school record by two seconds to place second in a time of 6:37.69.
The women's relay team of
Mary Saiz,
Eryn Leonard,
Marissa Bradley and
Abi Young finished third and lowered the school record by three seconds to 7:38.90.
Cassi Blakeman finished one spot out of the medals on the one-meter finishing fourth (407.90).

Mesa placed four men in the 200 fly.
